If you’re a regular watcher of E!’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” you’re probably pretty familiar with momager to the Kardashian clan, Kris Jenner, wanting her daughter Kourtney to marry her long time beau Scott Diseck.
Kourtney and Scott have had their share of problems throughout the years. Scott’s drinking and wild behavior has been a major cause of concern for Kourtney, especially after the two had beautiful son Mason. Scott has regularly voiced his wants for getting married but Kourtney is adamant about keeping the duo unwed.
“I would love for Kourtney and Scott to get married,” Jenner, 55, said on last week’s episode of “The Talk.” I have such a fantasy that she’s going to have the same kind of life that I’ve had, and making that commitment to somebody makes your relationship very strong, even though it’s just a piece of paper.”
On an episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” last summer Kourtney reasoned, “I definitely don’t want to get married just for the sake of getting married. This is my life. I don’t need a piece of paper to make it a family unit.” This was after Scott had purchased an engagement ring.
“I just feel so lucky and I want my kids to experience the same things,” Jenner said on “The Talk”, breaking down into tears. “When you have that love, you want to set an example and [let your children] experience that same kind of love.”
So should Kourtney and Scott finally said ‘I Do’? With the other two sisters Kim and Khloe married, is it finally time for Kourtney to walk down the aisle as well? Here are a few different things we think about the situation:
NO – He Still Doesn’t Have His Drinking Under Control
On recent episodes of their reality show on E! Scott has experimented with getting back into drinking. He believes he’s no longer the bad alcoholic he used to be and that he can control how much he drinks and his behavior while drinking.
The problem with this is that we see how he manipulates the situation into having many drinks to then tell Kourtney he really only had a few. Until Scott can be honest about his drinking, it’s probably not a good idea for them to wed.
NO – His Outfits Are Atrocious
Let’s be real. Scott’s outfits are straight up cray-cray. Between his sweater vests, polo shirts, and slicked back hair this dude looks like he just got off the set of “American Psycho” and that ain’t a good thing. Kourtney comes from a stylish family and she needs someone who has a little less douche in their attire, no?
YES – They Love Each Other
These two obviously can’t live without each other or else Kourtney would just say enough is enough and dump the crazy drunk. This duo is made for each other and should just give in to their family’s wishes. Scott has made it clear he wants to be married and their little family of three should just make it official already.
