Shoes

Being worn, while expecting nothing in return
Traveling feet, even miles, persisting through storms
So I ask, why these shoes don’t have some concern?
Do they lack the care? Are they too cold or too warm?
An answer so simple, yet complex in thought
Shoes will be shoes, so don’t be distraught
