When I became a parent, I don’t think I fully realized how hectic it would be. Not only are you trying to keep up with your own life, but now you have one or more to keep up with too. I feel like I am constantly on the go. My two boys, who are 2 and 4, keep me very occupied every minute we have together.
I cherish every moment with my boys because we don’t get as many as I would like. I spend 8 hours at work every day and an hour at the gym in desperate pursuit of that pre-baby belly before I get to lay my eyes on my little guys for the first time all day. Then there are the classes at the university I attend four nights a week, further straining my schedule. None of this includes the doctors appointments, visits to the park, play dates or random grocery trip.
Between all this running around, the last thing I want to have to worry about is reapplying deodorant. Finding one that lasts all day – even through an intense session with my personal trainer- isn’t always easy. However, it is all too easy to forget to reapply when you’re as busy as I am and barely have time to sleep. Forget about packing that extra deodorant stick when there are diapers and snacks to remember!
When I tried the Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant for Sensitive Skin, the first thing I noticed was that the product has this soft, powdery texture, which I just loved. My sensitive skin often gets irritated by the wet, gel-type deodorants. I would choose this over those products any day of the week.
The biggest seller for me is that I can put the deodorant on at night and feel dry all day long, giving me one less thing to worry about in my frantic daily schedule. I found myself perspiring less at the gym (always a plus!) and even chasing my kids at the park without breaking a sweat.
I was given the opportunity to try this product for free, and I am glad I did. Otherwise, I may have bypassed it on the shelf to reach for my normal deodorant, which does an “okay” job but doesn’t quite have the same lasting power as this Secret product.
