Queen of the Quote

I used to be the Queen of the Quote. I would quote bible verses, famous people and even ordinary folks. I love quotes and then, one day, I began to quote myself. Someone wrote to me and asked, “Who wrote that quote?” and it has prompted me to share some of my favorite quotes today.

Mahatma Gandi once said, “A man is but the product of his thoughts what he thinks, he becomes.” If there is truth in that, I am probably an egg because sometimes I’m hard-boiled, soft-boiled and still other times I am scrambled. Many times I am just plain fried.

Here are some of my favorite quotes – I wrote these quotes and you can quote them:

You can douse some people in water and still never quench their zesty fired-up lives.

If actions speak loudly, please lower your voice and practice charades.

A bad attitude spreads quicker than the flu.

If you are in a bad mood and we are alone, can I at least invite others to join us?

Undress for success – the easiest way to make a difference is to remove your jacket, roll up those sleeves and get down and dirty.

M&Ms may melt in your mouth but chocolate as a whole can melt away most issues.

When there are too many chiefs and not enough Indians, can someone point the way to the Indians so that I can join in with them?

Smart cookies rarely crumble under pressure.

Why did you do a double take if just one look was all it took?

When you do not know the answer, a Smile is the best one to offer.

If you cannot ‘see’ that you are wrong, I will lend you my glasses.

Laughter is the best medicine for a world that doesn’t know it is sick.

If we have to start over, can we have a cup of coffee first?

Be patient with my questions now and maybe later I can answer your questions.

Life is one big sandbox. Don’t throw sand unless you want to play someplace else.
