Lisa and the Old Lady Ghost

It’s Friday night, two days before Halloween and Lisa is headed to visit her cousin in York, Alabama to spend the weekend. As Lisa pack her bags and get ready for her five hour ride, all she can think about is the exciting time she always seem to have in being with her cousin Sheila. Both girls are around the same age and love to spend time in each others’ company because they have so much in common. Imagine to teenage girls who like to get into nothing but trouble. Lisa had finish packing her bags while five hours away in Alabama, Sheila was preparing her room for Lisa’s arrival. As Lisa gets into her family car, she remembers that she had not slept in days over being excited about her visit. As Lisa gets relaxed in the back sit of the car she starts to drift off into deep memory about a story she once heard her Aunt, Sheila’s mom tell them about.

Lisa remembers the story in great detail: Long time ago back in 1949, when Lisa’s mom and aunt were teenagers like Lisa and Sheila. They use to love playing around in the woods which had an open field. They had heard stories about an old woman who lived deep down in the woods and she had all types of animals. The most interesting part was that the animals where like none ever seen before. Lisa remembers how her aunt stated that she and Lisa’s mom with a group of other kids decided they were going to get up the nerves and travel deep into the woods to find this Lady and her animals; they were curious. Lisa’s aunt and mom along with those other kids traveled deep into the woods one Saturday evening in hopes of finding this lady and her animals. Lisa’s mom and aunt travel for about seven miles with the other kids before realizing they were in the middle of nowhere and hours away from home. Then out of the blue as they all stood in the middle of the woods they begin to hear someone calling their names, one by one. The calling of the name echoed loudly in the woods as they heard and felt heavy wind. They begin to here sounds like never before which seems to be from animals but none they could see. Lisa’s aunt heard an old raggedy voice call out to her several times. She could here the voice but she could not see anyone as the others screamed and yelled.

Then out of no where appeared an old lady whose face could not be recognized because of scars and spider webs, right in her face it was as she saw claws grab her shoulder, “Wake up Lisa, the voice said to Lisa’s aunt, Wake up Lisa? Lisa realized her five hour ride was over, she was in Alabama and Sheila was calling Lisa to awake. She had been in a dream the entire time.
