COMMENTARY | Leonardo DiCaprio has been spending time in Australia recently. Leonardo’s picture is now on the cover of an Australian magazine called GQ Australia. In the March 2012 issue, Leonardo talks about the roles he would have played if he was a leading actor during another time, on the growing level of paranoia and on whether he wants to direct. His picture is stunning and beautiful. As, Leonardo grows older he becomes more handsome!
For the roles he would play during another time, he tells GQ Australia how it would have been the 70s. He shares his thoughts on the movie “Taxi Driver” and how it is his ultimate independent movie performance. The character of Travis Bickle is a young actor’s wet dream he states to the magazine. He, also, stated that he would love to direct one day too.
Very recently, Leonardo took a holiday to Mexico with his new love Erin Heatherton according to the Telegraph. Leonardo was pictured wearing a safety harness and protective headwear whilst on a thrilling ride zooming to a great height of up to 91 meters. Leonardo and Erin visited the Wild Canyon adventure park in Cabo San Lucas. Apparently, when Leonardo was on the ride he made some comical faces that gave a hint of fear in his expression, according to a comment from an onlooker who told the British magazine, Hello. Erin appeared relaxed whilst on the ride. She gave no indication that she was scared. The two make a stunning couple!
Just recently though, Leonardo was seen being out without Erin and instead he was seen with Simone Holtznagel according to news.com.au. Of course, Simone tweeted that she did not go home with him, but just chatted to him during that time. Leonardo was seen texting on his mobile throughout the night. So, where was Erin? Have they split up already? Speculation is that the two may have split up and gone their separate ways! Leonardo has previously been involved with top models, Gisele Bundchen and on-and-off girlfriend of five years, Bar Rafaeli.
Whatever happens, we are sure that Leonardo will never be without a girlfriend after getting his picture published on the cover of a magazine. Perhaps, he will be on the cover of many more magazines in other countries in the future. I am from the UK, so let’s hope he decides to spend some time in London. It would be nice to see him make a movie based in London. So, come on Leonardo, you might want to direct and act in an English movie working along side some great English actress! Let’s hope he considers it!
