Kyle’s Corner (FYI) Lot Time: Some Cars Are Out Having Fun Others Stay Home Near the Phone

Even if we do not think we like attention, it is likely that we secretly do. Truth be known, we like getting asked out or asking someone out and receiving approval! We like our work to be favorably looked upon, etc. – nothing wrong that that!

Since the focus of this article is on vehicles, which new ones hang around the lot the least time? Such is a worthwhile question because the vehicles chosen are the ones drivers want – nothing wrong with this!

Maybe I should have titled this article: Vehicles that are hot and those that are not! However, in my book, as all vehicles have some good qualities, they are all quite hot indeed!

The following 10 vehicles were in inventory the least number of days during 2011. Of note is that I have written articles about many of these popular vehicles. The information was provided by blog.truecar.com.

The Hyundai Elantra (7 days), Lexus CT 200h (7 days), Ford Explorer (10 days), Audi Q5 (10 days), MINI Cooper Countryman (12 days), Audi Q7 (14 days), Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX (15 days), GMC Terrain (15 days), Lexus RX 450h (15 days), and Chevrolet Equinox (16 days).

Now, let’s move on to the 10 vehicles that remained on the lot (and near the phone!) for the most number of days in 2011. And why am I providing this information? Well, if the vehicle rates well (and some of them do) and you like it (it meets your transportation needs); the information could help you to possibly work a really good deal.

The following 10 vehicles were in inventory the most number of days during 2011.

The Mitsubishi Eclipse (152 days), BMW Z4 (126 days), Kia Reo (121 days), Mazda MAZDA2 (119 days), Toyota Camry Hybrid (113 days), Volvo C70 (109 days), Hyundai Elantra Touring (104 days), Volkswagen CC (103 days), Jaguar XF (102 days), and Nissan Versa (99 days).

There you have it – useful information so that you can better understand what is going on at the dealers’ lots.

As always, my goal is your best driving!
