Justin Mortelliti, Casey Kringlen Star in Hollywood Premiere of ‘Expecting to Fly’

The Elephant Space in Hollywood will host the world premiere of Expecting to Fly, a Racquel Lehrman and Theatre Planners production starring Casey Kringlen and Justin Mortelliti in the lead roles. Performances begin on Jan. 28 and run through March 4.

Expecting to Fly is a dark, yet sometimes humorous, journey that follows Sean (Kringlen) and Jared (Mortelliti) as they seek to experience one last perfect kiss to set each other free. On the journey, they both rediscover the time they spent together and come to terms with what they lost in each other.

Award-winning director Kiff Scholl (Hyper-Chondriac, Kill Me, Deadly, Don Giovanni Tonight, Don Carlo Tomorrow) leads an impressive crew including set designer Keith Mitchell, lighteing designer Matt Richter and costume designer Victoria Watson.

Casey Kringlen has appeared on NBC’s Heroes, as well as feature films Essential Life, The Layabouts, Friends, Cuspid: A Fairy Tale and I Don’t Eat Spring Rolls. He also has numerous stage credits.

Justin Mortelliti has appeared on CBS’s Numb3rs, as well as film appearances in Jew, Negotiations, Rehab and Dog Tags. He also has appeared in numerous off-Broadway performances, including The Columbine Project, where he won an Artistic Director’s Achievement Award for Best Lead Actor in a Drama.
