Jon Bones Jones VS Cain Velasquez. When I think of this match I think of a dream fight that could go either way, hard to predict and just one amazing bout that would bring in millions of viewers. You have Velasquez who is undefeated and has amazing striking power and some awesome takedowns. You have Jon Bones Jones who also has great striking power and crazy takedowns.
If this fight were to ever happen, which it probably will never ever happen, then I predict that this fight would go right into the last round. Jones would most likely score a TKO over Velasquez. I think if Jones moved up to the heavyweight division then he would still be one of the fastest strikers in the division and he would also land strikes from all kinds of angles. If Jones became a heavyweight then I believe that he would be a little faster than Velasquez but his striking power would not be as good as Velasquez. Jones is fast and would remain fast, and he has long limbs and has amazing strikes. Cain would defintely come close to winning but he would not be able to defeat Jon Bones Jones.
A lot of people, myself included, think that Jones will never move up into the heavyweight leagues because of many different reasons. However, if Jones keeps on dominating the light heavyweight ranks, then he may very well be asked to gain weight so he can fight in the heavyweight division. I for one do hope that Jones moves up to the heavyweight division one day because he would absolutely dominate in the heavyweight division.
