How to Make Scented Bubbles to Blow with a Bubble Wand

Blowing bubbles with scent is in but after the original bubble mixture is gone what are you to do? There are still bubble wars to fight and competitions over who can blow the biggest bubble. You could refill the bottle and make your own with dish soap, bubble bath or body wash that lathers enough to build an ample supply of suds. When choosing dish soap, bubble bath or body wash to use choose unscented if you want to create your own scent. Otherwise the soaps scent will compete with any scent that you add. You might even use liquid laundry detergent but detergent that has bleach or other substances that can harm or kill grass and plants wouldn’t be the safest thing to use since it can ruin clothes, hurt the skin and eyes and create toxic fumes that are breathed in. When using dish soap you might be able to get by with one that contains a bleach alternative but it may have the same affect when it comes to killing the lawn, bleaching clothes and breathing in the fumes.

After you refilled your bubble bottle you can create your own bubble scent. To create scent you can use scented oils. If you use oils you may not want to use Dawn dish washing soap since it repels oil. When using scented oils use them sparingly and use just a few drops or just enough to smell the scent in the soap mixture. You don’t want to use more oil than there is soap or it may not bubble. Oils may cause grease spots.

There are edible oils that you can use such as the kind that you would stain toothpicks in to create cinnamon toothpicks. You could even use garlic oils to help keep mosquitoes and other biting pests away.

Scented potpourri oil gives you a variety of pleasant scents. If you love to smell coco butter or coconut you can use tanning oils that give off either scent.

Instead of using scented oils you can add scent with baking or cooking extracts such as almond or vanilla extract. These kind of scents are probably the safest and best way to go plus they do smell really good.

You might go with snow cone flavorings or syrups for ice that are sometimes found in stores. And another thing you can try is Kool-Aid. If you use Kool-Aid or similar mixes for scent you will get a bonus of color to.
