Halloween and Fall Activities in Lake Forest, California

To spice up your autumn, attend a few fall events that are available locally in Lake Forest. Engage in fun activities to bring your family together and bond with your children.

Fun Foods

Pumpkin Pie Crust: Celebrate the autumn holidays while you eat healthy. Here’s an activity that you can do with your children and encourage a healthy diet. Events

Sleepy Hollow Hike: Get your hiking boots or comfy sneakers set for an adventurous tour. Join the Sleepy Hollow Hike, from 9 to 11 a.m., on Sept. 24 for a fee of $5 (includes snack and bottled water). The hike will be at the Concourse Park, located at 18931 Saddleback Ranch Rd, which will be approximately three miles (ages 12 or older). Remember to preregister for this activity here, and don’t forget your sunscreen.

Red Rock Canyon Hike: Here’s another hiking event, The Red Rock Canyon Hike, which will be from 9 a.m. to noon, on Oct. 15 for a fee of $5 (includes snack and bottled water). Additionally, there will be a $3 charge for parking per car. The event will be at the Whiting Ranch/Borrego, approximately four miles (ages 7 or older). Preregistration is required for this event as well.

Haunt at Heritage Hill: If you have children ages 12 and older, you can take them to a fun filled Halloween event. The Haunt at Heritage Hill is from 5:30 to 10 p.m., on Oct. 21 for a fee of $5 per person at the door. The event will be held at Heritage Hill Historical Park, located at 25151 Serrano Rd.

Autumn Harvest Festival: The following day, you can take children of all-ages to the Autumn Harvest Festival. The festival will be at the Heritage Hill Historical Park, from 4 to 9 p.m., on Oct. 22. The cost at the door for adults is $4, for children under age 13 is $3.

Hallow’s Eve Bowl Jam: Come support the largest free Skatepark in America. Attend the Hallow’s Eve Bowl Jam, at Etnies Skatepark of Lake Forest , located at 20028 Lake Forest Dr. The contest will be held from 4 to 10 p.m., on Oct. 28. Registration will be at 3 p.m. on the day of the event for $25 (includes a contest T-shirt).
