Five Sights to See in Providence, Rhode Island

Providence, Rhode Island is one of the smallest states yet it packs a big punch. What can you do in Providence? There are plenty of things to keep you occupied like golfing lessons, movies, and shopping. The museums are my favorite because I like to get a little history about the town. I’m a huge fan of art, so the galleries were number one on my check list. If that doesn’t tickle your fancy here are five places in Providence that might be a better fit.

Providence Helicopter Charter: A helicopter ride around the city will have you jumping for joy. I had to put this on the list it’s so hard to resist. Twin Rivers Beach: Who doesn’t like a good beach? Twin Rivers is a nice spot to have it made in the shade. Kicking your feet up and not having a care in the world. Catch a tan or just take a swim in the lake. Either way Twin Rivers will take you to a new plateau of relaxation.

Amici Bar & Grille: If you like sushi and Mediterranean cuisine you’re in for a real treat. Amici has everything to make your taste buds water. Tantalizing food cooked in a brick oven it leaves you no choice, but to enjoy yourself. Also known for its quaint and inviting atmosphere Amici is nothing but classy. Their hours are Sunday -Thursday: 5pm-1am Friday & Saturday: 5pm-2am.

Providence Ghost Tour: You’ll be seeing dead people in no time with this tour. If you’re a non believer I bet you’ll be scared straight. The Providence Ghost Tour is something different to try if you’re tired of the conventional places to go. Tickets are $15 for adults and children under 12 is $10 it’s an hour and a half long tour, so be prepared to be scared.

Roger Williams Park Zoo: The zoo is fun for people of all ages kids just love this place. You can even book Birthday parties and private events.
