The Bartels Farm is a local family owned and operated farm in Fort Collins, Colorado. They grow a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables and are particularly known for their sweet corn. If you want to pick it yourself, you will need to call or email Nancy at the farm in advance to schedule a time. Harvesting of the crops begins in the middle of summer. They also have a pumpkin patch, corn maze and hay rides daily from mid-September through the end of October.

The Ya Ya Farm & Orchard is a 100 year old farm and apple orchard located in Longmont, Colorado. The apple orchard is available for you to pick yourself. It will be open from September 10 through October 24 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. You must contact them in advance to schedule a time. Plan to spend about an hour harvesting apples, meeting the farm animals and having a treat of apple cider and cider donuts.

May farms is a family owned farm in Byers, Colorado. There is a large variety of fresh vegetables. They offer a restaurant on weekends that serves fresh produce from their farm. They offer field trips where children can learn about farm life and help with harvest. They offer pick your own pumpkins in the fall. Their farm stand is open every day except Monday.

Call or email in advance to be sure there are berries available before you go. They also have a farm stand where you can purchase fresh fruit and vegetables. You can also purchase a Community Supported Agriculture share from them and you will receive Hoot ‘n’ Howl Bucks to spend there on produce.
