Dr. Oetker Ristorante Brand Frozen Spinach Pizza is Very Tasty

Approximately a year and a half ago, I encountered Dr. Oetker Ristorante brand frozen pizzas at a Hartford, Connecticut supermarket. The brand name intrigued me, so I purchased and ate the Dr. Oetker Ristorante mozzarella pie and enjoyed it. Recently, I tried the Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza Spinaci, which contains two types of cheese and a good amount of flavorful leaf spinach and was quite impressed.

This frozen pie seems like a good product to review, so here is one food writer’s product review of Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza Spinaci.

Size
The net weight of the standard sized Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza Spinaci is 13.80 ounces. According to the product’s nutrition facts label, the pizza contains three 1/3 pizza (130 grams) servings.

When I recently ate this tasty and unusual frozen pizza, I consumed almost the entire pie in one sitting.

Price
The regular retail price charged for one 13.80 ounce Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza Spinaci at Hartford, Connecticut area supermarkets is approximately $3.99.

This price seems very reasonable to me. The pizza is definitely a high quality product and it is very flavorful. Also, this is the only brand of frozen spinach-topped pizza I have ever seen.

This delightful frozen pizza features a very thin crust. When cooked according to directions, the pie is slightly crunchy, yet still pliable. A good amount of tomato sauce covers the crust and two types of cheese; mozzarella and edam, top the sauce.

Interspersed throughout the pie are clumps of nicely seasoned leaf spinach, which are soft and moist. The overall mouth feel offered by this frozen pizza is quite satisfying.
