Despite being subtle yet sheer, Bobbi Brown’s Party Shimmer Brick has a modest pigment, producing a great color payoff.
Bobbi Brown is a makeup artist and knows what one wants, as she knows what one needs. This product is long-lasting, and if applied over primer and foundation, etc., it definitely exceeds ones’ expectations.
This product can be used for multiple purposes. What I love about it is the fact that you don’t have to wear it as just a luminizer. You can wear it as an eyeshadow and a foiled liner. If you appreciate a multi-use beauty product, you will love this one.
I love the uniqueness of this shimmer brick simply because the gold shimmer (which is “Oro”) is made up of a cocktail mixer, and the silver shimmer (which is the “Argento”) is made up a martini or cocktail glass. It is cute and would make a great gift for anyone who appreciates creativity from a high-end beauty product.
Whether you have a cool undertone or a warm undertone, you can use this product. When you combine both shades together, you get a stunning neutral affect that is just amazing.
If you want to wear this during the day, you can. If you want to wear this during the night, you can. It is great for all hours of the day and night. Whether you want to wear this in the morning, the afternoon, the evening, or throughout the night, you can and that is the beauty of it.
CONS
When you look at this shimmer brick, you want to get a lot from the product. If you are looking for an overly pigmented luminizing product that has glitter or highly pigmented color, you will not appreciate this product. It’s more understated and natural.
If you are not looking to spend $40 for a luminizing product, you are definitely not going to find Bobbi Brown’s Party Shimmer Brick appealing.
