Ashley Greene: 5 Things You Should Know About ‘Twilight’s’ Vampire Vixen

Ashley Greene is more than just a pretty face. The beautiful actress has made a name for herself appearing in all the films of “The Twilight Saga” and in the critically acclaimed “Skateland”.

It has been her off-screen activities, most notably her relationship with Joe Jonas,that has made her famous. Like it or not, it was the role that she played in the Joe Jonas / Demi Lovato breakup that brought Ashley into the cover pages of the weekly magazines.

Here’s a few things that we know about actress Ashley Greene:

Demi Lovato: The model / actress was swept up into the Demi Lovato rehab drama in 2010. The Disney star headed to rehab shortly after he ex, Joe Jonas, took up with Ashley. She remained by his side as from the summer of 2010 until the two parted ways in March 2011.

Twilight: Ashley snagged the plum role of Alice Cullen, Edward’s adopted sister, in “The Twilight Saga” films. She has played the role in all five “Twilight” films.

Football Fan: Go Gators! The actress is a major football fan who grew up watching the game. Her favorite college team is the Florida Gators.

Modeling: Acting is her fallback career. Ashley originally planned on being a model, but her small 5’5″ stature kept her off the runways. She initially planned on moving into commercial modeling, but was so taken with her acting classes that she changed her focus. Her acting career has helped her modeling aspirations, the star was just signed to model for the DKNY fashion label.

Nudity: In 2009, Greene was surprised that several nude self portraits had been leaked online. The actress set her attorneys to work against the sites on which they were posted. After threatening legal action, the photos were taken down. Ashley took control of her body by appearing nude in a bodypainted bikini in 2010 for a SoBe advertisement which ran in the annual “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition”.
