I sit here deep in contemplation,
of how I need a good vacation.
Time away from snotty noses,
just some time to smell the roses.
Quiet time to just reflect,
my activities, I can select.
My sanity I must preserve,
They’re getting on my very last nerve.
I draw a breath and remember to breathe,
eventually I’ll get a reprieve.
