911 Remembrance Las Vegas

Three-days of spectacular events have been secured throughout Las Vegas, NV, with historic downtown Las Vegas as the hub. All agencies in town have joined as collaborating agencies, including: Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, Las Vegas Fire and Rescue and Clark County Fire, the Marine Corps League, the Marine Riders, the Women Marine Association NV-1, Nevada Highway Patrol, the City of Las Vegas, LVCVA and the Constables Office.

Events range from a car show, national entertainment and opening ceremonies with the same blue lights that replaced the towers at Ground Zero, all occurring on Friday. Saturday launches athletic events such as the 9.11k run, 1 mile walk, 91.1k bicycle ride, family appreciation day with a mini-rodeo and a motorcycle ride (with 5 options to choose from around the southern Nevada region) and a final run down the Las Vegas Strip. The day ends with a festival style music event Saturday evening with national headlining entertainment. Sunday rounds out the weekend with a Heroes Parade integrated with events in New York, a ceremony at the Police Memorial Park at 11:11 a.m. led by the Sheriff, and an exclusive invite only, black tie Gala that evening.

Since that first fortuitous meeting, nationally rated attorneys, media outlets, national entertainers and celebrities, Endorsements, and dignitaries, survivors and families, men and women of all ages, and organizations of all kinds, have joined in the Spirit of Unity to celebrate our common commitment to freedom, and to honor those who serve and experience that freedom.
