4 Autumn Wedding Gowns: Say ‘I Do’ in Style

When choosing a wedding dress, one should consider the season and the newest trends. Take a look at four fashionable wedding gowns for fall. Say “I do” in style with one of four different looks. If I was getting married all over again, these are the gowns I would choose.

Metallic Wedding Gowns

Metallic makeup and metallic nails are a fall trend. When having a wedding this fall, choose a metallic gown. Complement your metallic gown with a matching metallic manicure. My metallic dress choice is the Tea Length Spaghetti Strap Taffeta Dress, in copper. Copper is an alluring autumn color as it reflects the colors of nature. This metallic dress is sleek and sexy. When I look at the copper color of this dress, I instantly think of gold, silver and glamour. When wanting to look as though you are ready to walk down the red carpet, choose this wedding dress with a precious metal glow.

Lace With a Splash of Satin Color

Wearing a touch of lace is a new fall trend, as are lace wedding gowns. For a classic white wedding dress covered in lace, choose the Allover Beaded Corded Lace A-Line Gown. Adding to the charm of this dress is the satin ribbon, which is available in metallic colors. The silk ribbon is available in 21 colors, adding just a splash of color to your dress. I would choose the apple colored ribbon because my husband’s favorite color is red. The apple ribbon is a candy apple red that would look amazing with a red manicure. Red is sexy, which is another reason to choose the candy apple red ribbon. Sleeveless snow-colored lace complemented by candy apple red satin makes for the perfect combination to say “I do.”

Jade and Gala Red

A new dress arrival is the elegant, One Shoulder Strap Shirred Bodice Tulle Overlay Jade. The top of the dress is red, while the bottom is jade with a brown overlay, creating an iridescent look. Single shoulder gowns are making a fashion statement this fall. Red nails are a fall fashion that will complement this jade and red dress. Opal earrings would make for a stunning accessory. When wanting to feel and look like a princess, choose this classy dress for your prince. Walk down the aisle looking like royalty as you begin your happily ever after.

Short White

When wanting a wedding dress that is not full length, choose a modest knee length dress. Leave your groom to wait until after the wedding to reveal more. Melissa Sweet by Priscilla of Boston has a beautiful knee length dress, as part of her Fall 2011 collection. This strapless white dress is sure to keep you cool, as you walk down the isle. The Melissa Sweet wedding dress is the perfect length, not too long nor too short. The second I set eyes on this dress I instantly though of an angel. When wanting to look like a sexy angel for your wedding, choose the Melissa Sweet short white dress.

Which wedding dress is your favorite of the four? I love all four of these dresses so this is a choice I had to contemplate. My favorite is the jade and gala red, as it reminds me of a fairytale princess dress that sparkles like an opal. In addition, the jade and gala colors unite with hues of dark and light, complimenting one another in contrast.

If you are getting married, congratulations! I just celebrated my 14-year anniversary in August and am a proud mother of three beautiful daughters.
