The long awaited Lindsay Lohan Playboy pictorial has been leaked online. The cover was accidentally leaked last week so it should not be a surprise that this pictorial was leaked as well. What’s interesting to note is that this spread is the first ever non-airbrushed shoot in the history of the magazine.
In the photo spread, Lohan portrays cinema legend Marilyn Monroe. What was sure to be a resurrection of Lohan’s career and possible image proved to be a letdown when months leading up to the spread it was promoted as boobs, butt and vag.
However, those who saw the photos witnessed a classy pictorial that would make Playboy collectors proud. The once upon a time upscale men’s mag has suffered image problems when the Playboy brand had been used more often than the word “surreal” by an Oscar winning actor.
Reality shows, former Playmates and Hef’s personal life have pushed the magazine to the back seat with their brand of craziness. Who knows if the pictorial will resurrect Lohan’s career? I’m more interested to see what it does for Playboy.
