Week 10 TE Rankings – player profiles and stat projections will be updated throughout the week

Week 10 — QB Rankings — RB Rankings — WR Rankings — TE Rankings — D Rankings — Waiver Pickups — Picks & Predictions — Player Injury Updates

1. Jimmy Graham – NO = @Atl —– I will take my chances with Jimmy Graham and the Saints passing attack any week. There is always the potential for 100 receiving yards and 1 touchdown with Graham.

2. Jermichael Finley – GB = Min —– The receiving yards have not been great this season, just because there are so many passing options in Green Bay. However Finley is a definite red zone target, and anytime a touchdown is in the picture for a TE, the fantasy football points can add up quickly.

3. Antonio Gates – SD = Oak —– Gates looked solid in last weeks game, and if Philip Rivers is finally turning the corner, watch out for the Chargers passing attack going forward. Gates is just like Jimmy Graham, in that he can rack up 100 receiving yards and 1 touchdown during any given week.

4. Rob Gronkowski – NE = @NYJ —– With the Jets corners taking away the Patriots wide receivers, if seems reasonable to assume that Tom Brady will look for Gronkowski a lot in this game. Anything between 5-12 catches for 50-125 receiving yards and 1 touchdown is definitely possible for Gronkowski this week.

5. Jason Witten – Dal = Buf —– Nice matchup for the Cowboys offense to tally some points this week. Add in the loss of Miles Austin for this game, and Witten could easily pick up a few more catches this week. 50-100 receiving yards is likely, and a touchdown is always possible.

6. Vernon Davis – SF = NYG —– Reliable, no. Potential, yes.

7. Brandon Pettigrew – Det = @Chi —– Fresh off the bye, Pettigrew could be Stafford’s favorite target in this game against a solid Bears defense.

8. Owen Daniels – Hou = @TB —– Daniels is always a pretty safe bet to get his 50 receiving yards, and a touchdown is always possible for this red zone target.

9. Tony Gonzalez – Atl = NO —– Another safe play tight end who can reliably net 50 receiving yards, with a touchdown always possible.

10. Fred Davis – Was = @Mia —– Clearly the best receiving option in Washington right now. Aside from maybe Roy Helu??? Yes that’s right, the TE and RB are the Redskins best passing options….

11. Aaron Hernandez – NE = @NYJ —– If Hernandez is healthy for this game, he could have a huge stat output this week as the Jets corners will force Tom Brady to use his TEs a lot in this game.

12. Greg Olsen – Car = Ten —– After Steve Smith, Olsen is no doubt Cam Newton’s second favorite target. And he is a nice red zone threat as well.

13. Dustin Keller – NYJ = NE —– Nice matchup for the Jets passing attack this week. If Keller is healthy and has no concussion problems, then he is a nice upside TE play for fantasy teams this week.

14. Visanthe Shiancoe – Min = @GB —– 20% —– One of Christian Ponder’s favorite targets, and the Green Bay Packers are terrible at covering TEs. At just 20% owned in 10 team leagues, Shiancoe offers excellent upside for fantasy teams this week.

15. Jake Ballard – NYG = @SF —– 33% —– Breaking his way up the TE rankings, Ballard is emerging as a near every week starting TE option in fantasy football leagues.

16. Brent Celek – Phi = Ari —– 29% —– Great matchup against a weak Arizona pass defense, but with so many explosive offensive options in the Eagles offense, it’s hard to know just how big of a roll Celek will play in this game.

17. Heath Miller – Pit = @Cin —– 55% —– Miller continues to be a solid and reliable TE you can rack up a handful of stats. Sometimes fantasy lineups just need a reliable few points from a position instead of a fat 0, Miller offers just that.

18. Jermaine Gresham – Cin = Pit —– 38% —– If Gresham is healthy enough this week, he could play a huge roll in the Bengals passing game as a dump off target for Andy Dalton, who will likely be under constant pressure in this game.

19. Jared Cook – Ten = @Car —– 32% —– As usual, it’s all about potential with Cook.

20. Dennis Pitta – Bal = @Sea —– 0% —– After two consecutive weeks of heavy involvement in the Ravens passing attack, Pitta may just have taken over as the #1 tight end option in Baltimore. Currently boasting a 0% ownership, Pitta is an outstanding TE pickup in deep fantasy leagues this week.

21. Kellen Winslow – TB = Hou —– With the Tampa Bay offense struggling behind Josh Freeman, Winslow is not even really deep league TE start material right now.

22. Benjamin Watson – Cle = StL —– 20% —– The matchup is especially enticing for this veteran, who also happens to be a solid red zone target.

23. Scott Chandler – Buf = @Dal —– Always a touchdown threat.

24. Jeremy Shockey – Car = Ten —– Cam Newton definitely knows that his TEs are his best friends.

25. Joel Dreessen – Hou = @TB —- For Owen Daniels owners, Dreessen is beginning to be a real thorn in their side, as he has stolen TD catches in three straight weeks.

26. Marcedes Lewis – Jac = @Ind

27. Daniel Fells – Den = @KC

28. Anthony Fasano – Mia = Was

29. Kevin Boss – Oak = @SD

30. Ed Dickson – Bal = @Sea

31. Zach Miller – Sea = Bal

32. Todd Heap – Ari = @Phi

33. Lance Kendricks – StL = @Cle

34. Evan Moore – Cle = StL

35. Tony Scheffler – Det = @Chi

36. James Casey – Hou = @TB

37. Delanie Walker – SF = NYG

38. Kyle Rudolph – Min = @GB

39. Michael Hoomanawanui – StL = @Cle

40. Randy McMichael – SD = Oak

41. Rob Housler – Ari = @Phi

42. Julius Thomas – Den = @KC

43. Jeff King – Ari = @Phi

44. Travis Beckum – NYG = @SF

45. Virgil Green – Den = @KC

46. Jacob Tamme – Ind = Jac

47. Dallas Clark – Ind = Jac —– injury ? likely out for season
