Beware of the scarecrow,
Watch out for witches.
The golden pumpkins with beaming eyes only mean one thing:
It’s finally fall.
Indicating that Halloween is almost here.
A time for a tummy full of candy,
Parents with shopping carts full of sugar,
And for children stopped in their tracks, frozen with fear.
Bumblebees, Angels, and Princesses strut around the block
Flying and floating, holding hands with their Mommy.
While ghosts, goblins, skeletons appear too, knocking on doors as a flock
Trick or treat
Candy for free, with a scare as the fee.
In the end always ends with a treat that’s sweet.
