The Mango Chow Vendor by the Bar (Tobago)

For those who haven’t had mango chow, I need to explain what mango chow is. Mango chow is unripened mangoes that are cut up and mixed with seasonings. It really is very good. But unless you’ve got a mouth for pepper or tolerance, as is the case in this situation, you should be careful.

First of all; I’m into mango chow. I’ll take the opportunity to buy some at any time. The last time I was in Tobago for New Years, though, I bought the hottest mango chow I think there is in the world.

What’s more is that recently on Facebook, I read an article on a study which found Trinidad peppers to be the hottest in the world. And I believe it because according to the Guinness page, the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T is the hottest chilli pepper in the world.

The conclusion I have made is that there is a vendor by the bar which is on the beach, and he used this pepper or something like it. It looks tasty. It smells tasty. But could you eat it? I couldn’t eat it.

Be careful with this one. It’s on the road that takes you to Pigeon Point, Tobago. If you’re there, check out the Pizza Boys pizza. It’s good stuff.
