Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Baseball is just a great little sport
for kids who are tall and kids who are short.
Any child can grab a bat and go swing
cause in little league there’s no champion ring.
It’s pure innocence, a good time for all.
There’s no better sound than yelling, “Play ball!”
It’s not about winning, the games are for fun.
I just can’t believe that we lost every one.
Who am I kidding? I hate baseball, I stink!
I can’t catch a ball, our uniforms are pink.
I have 900 strikeouts and only one hit.
Even that one didn’t count, it bounced off my armpit.
Every game I hear, “You’re out! Double play!”
So I’d rather stay home and watch TV all day.
