As it was speculated, Sin Cara did return to Friday Night Smackdown this week. The rumors of Jorge Arias better known as “Hunico” did portray the character of Sin Cara this week on Smackdown. Hunico regularly wrestles for FCW (and I will reveal the potential role he could have later on in the article.)
On the August 9th Taping of Smackdown, Hunico portrayed Sin Cara and faced Tyson Kidd in a one on one match. Hunico did a great job impersonating all of Sin Cara’s mannerisms. He did the ring entrance and all, and displayed a great impersonation of Sin Cara. Many people in attendance didn’t seem to notice the difference.
Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde’s (the original Sin Cara) 30 Day suspension is nearly done. According to online reports, Hunico, who portrayed the Sin Cara character this week, could be inserted into a storyline. When the original Sin Cara returns from his suspension, it may be revealed that Hunico was impersonating Sin Cara during his suspension. A feud between the two would start, and potentially carry on into WWE’s tour in Mexico into the fall of 2011.
