Review of Wet N Wild Wild Shine in Blazed

Wet n Wild sells a lot of inexpensive cosmetics and nail products, but some of them are of dubious quality. There are a lot of hits with this brand, but there are also a lot of misses. This product is one of them.

It comes in a small rectangular glass bottle with a tapered bottom. But I would like to say that the brush of this product is really not very great quality. It applies very streakily on the nails because it is not very dense, and the bristles are not very high quality. In addition, my particular nail polish had a few bristles sticking out toward the side, which was really inconvenient when I wanted to paint my nails.

Blazed is a bright orange pinky color that has tinges of salmon. It is a creamy color with no shimmer or frost and has a great glossy finish on the nails. This color is fantastic for the summertime. It is so incredibly bright and really makes me happy to see them. The color is warm, so would look really great on tan skin or warmer tones. For certain people, I’m certain this nail polish would be too bright and gaudy.

This nail polish is incredibly watery like many other Wet n Wild polishes. It requires at least three coats to be opaque on the nails, which is really too much work to do for any sort of color. It is difficult to apply because it’s so runny, making it really easy to make a big mess on the nails and skin. Not only is this nail polish so incredibly sheer, it is also does not last very long.

This nail polish chipped on the first day of wear, and because I had to layer on so many coats, also started to peel pretty quickly. Without a top coat, this nail polish would not have lasted a few days. I was so disappointed by the poor wear time, especially after the trouble I went to trying to get it to look good.

While this nail polish is incredibly inexpensive, I would definitely not recommend buying it. Save your money and buy one good nail polish instead.
