Recycled Gift Jar Recipes

By turning your trash into cash you can begin recycling and saving the earth of all the plastic and glass jars and start making money today by selling bake goods at craft fairs, garage sales, school gifts and more. It is also a great way to start an online business.

And it’s a great way to spend time with your kids.

Take your Glass Jars or your empty Plastic Jars from your peanut butter or mayo into perfect gift jars. Clean out all jars “I use my dish washer for extra hot cleaning” and then fill with your favorite muffin or cookie recipe or soup recipe. Decorate the top of the jar with any design of cloth material you have on hand, and use scrapbook scissors to make fancy cuts on your material. The next thing you want to do is to place a nice tag on your jars, this will have your recipe instructions on it showing your customers how to prepare your recipe. Make sure all of your directions are clear with oven temp and how to mix the ingredients.

When you have filled your jars screw down the lid and then place your material on top of the lid or cap of your jar. To hold your fabric in place a rubber band around the material and then tie a ribbon, raffia, or twine, yarn, lace around the rubber band. Place your tag through your ribbon by punching a hole in the tag.

These gifts should keep for at least six months; if your recipe is using nuts three month is usually best. Be sure to state when you made the product and when it should expire.
