We received four packs of gum from the Pur-Gum company. We received Pomegranate mint, spearmint, excitemint and peppermint gum. The gum has a powerful flavor that fades after a few moments into a good tasting gum. The advantage of Pur-Gum is the gum is Aspartame free and each pack contains nine pieces of flavorful gum. My children loved the pomegranate mint gum because it was flavorful and not too strong.
Most gums on the market are made with the ingredient Aspartame- a man-made synthetic sweetener that’s been linked to many diseases. The FDA has listed 92 acknowledged symptoms of aspartame poisoning. (Straight from the Pur-Gum website) Pur-Gum is sweetened with Xylitol which is a naturally-occurring sugar alcohol found in corn cobs and stalks. This is much better than those gums that are flavored by aspartame.
