Inaugural San Gennaro Festival Comes to Port St. Lucie, Florida

The Inaugural San Gennaro Festival of Port St Lucie will be held on September 17th & 18th, 2011, in the Village Square at the PSL Civic Center, 9221 SE Civic Center Place (US 1 & Walton Road) in Port St Lucie, FL 34952. The group hopes to have thousands of our St. Lucie County residents and it’s neighbors in Martin, Indian River and Okeechobee counties experience this New York style, Italian festival in honor of
San Gennaro. They will have a wonderful selection of Italian specialty foods, plus sodas, beers, wines, pastries and various types of entertainment, including Italian singers, dancers & bands. There will be games, a bounce house, rock climbing for the kids, and face painting. Everyone will have a great time! Their goal is to raise funds to be shared between their San Gennaro Scholarship, the Treasure Coast Food Bank and other local charities they support. One Hundred Per Cent of their profits go to their charity, which in turn go directly to helping your neighbors in “OUR” community.

They are encouraging everyone to bring some type of canned goods and/or non-perishable foods to the festival to deposit at the Treasure Coast Food Bank. They will be at the festival showing off their new truck that was donated by Kraft Foods. Share some of your canned goods and bring them along to the festival, your community needs it! People helping people. Doing good, pass it on.
