How to Survive Halloween Haunted Houses/Attractions

Halloween is one of the best holidays of the year for the younger age of society. Children love to go and buy costumes and go out trick-or-treating with their parents. There are so many different costumes available for purchase these days that the possibilities are endless. Halloween is always fun for children because they get as much candy as they want for free! But, what is fun about Halloween for teenagers? That’s right, haunted houses! There are many haunted houses all over the world and they usually run from the beginning of October until the first weekend in November.

Haunted houses are always fun for many different reasons. What are these reasons? I’m glad you asked! For one, they scare everyone half to death! It makes you feel like you are in a real life horror movie and it makes your heart race faster than it ever has before. Have you ever had a nightmare and swore it was real? Visiting one of the famous haunted houses or attractions in your area might make you feel like you’re having an actual living nightmare!

There is a lot of work that goes into creating haunted attractions for everyone to enjoy every year. Have you ever thought about how much work it takes to put the makeup on the actors? It takes a lot of time and effort from these people just to entertain others throughout the Halloween season. If you haven’t ever been to a haunted house/attraction, I am going to give you a few tips to making it all the way through one.

The first tip that I am going to provide to you is to stay with the group. If you get separated from your group for any reason, the actors are going to single you out and make you feel as if you are the only one in there with them. It is going to freak you out and make you be screaming and running at the same time! The second tip that I can give you is in order to keep up with your group in a dark alley, it is best to hold on to the back of the shirt that the person in front of you is wearing. This helps you keep up with who is who and helps you to keep up with the group. There are going to be tour guides in the front and the back so if you happen to get too scared, it is okay to tell them that you want to leave. They will then escort you out of the attraction back to safety. You may not want to do this though because the cost of haunted houses can be rather expensive. The ones that I have visited in the past have cost between 30 and 40 dollars to enter. It seems like it is a lot of money but at the end of the night, I was happy that I spent that to walk through what was the most exciting time of my life.

I always thought that Halloween was about the candy and dressing up but it turns out that it wasn’t. Halloween is about being scared of the dark and having fun with your friends. It may make you look like a crybaby whenever you get out of the haunted attraction, but it will be something that you and your friends will be able to reminisce on in the future and laugh about. Another fun thing about Halloween is being able to watch all of the scary movies that really frightened you whenever you were younger. Halloween, Friday the 13th, and A Nightmare on Elm Street are among the best scary movies of all time so if you haven’t ever seen any of them, this would be the Halloween to check them out for yourself. I am sure that you will be in for a SCARE!
