How to Lose 20 Lbs in One Month

After leaving my doctor’s office and hearing that I had an unbelievably high cholesterol for someone my age and a scary blood pressure to match, I knew I need to make a change. I made simple changes to my diet and exercise routine and noticed huge differences, and fast.
Eat Breakfast Every Day
I was notorious for skipping breakfast every day, claiming I was never hungry in the morning. But after a couple of days of forcing myself to eat breakfast, I easily slipped into the routine of eating it and it became necessary to do so. I strictly stuck to Fiber One cereal and fruit or egg whites and fruit.
Cut Out All Processed Frozen Foods
I always worked late and would come home and pop in a microwaveable pizza or frozen buffalo wings for dinner. I cut these out completely, and after only a few days I noticed a big difference in the way I felt. Fewer stomach pains.
Eat more Fish and Protein
I added a lot more fish to my diet, at least two or three times a week. I either grilled it or broiled it. I never fried or baked it with tons of butter or bread crumbs. For the remaining meals, I ate skinless chicken breast.
Snack on Fruit and Nuts
I strictly snacked on fruit and nuts. I would usually eat an apple or a banana in between meals. It got kind of boring, so sometimes I would spice it up with a tablespoon of all natural peanut butter. Every night, I would eat nuts, usually a hundred calorie pack of almonds or pistachios.
Walk Every Day
I started to walk a little every day. I made sure to walk at least 20 minutes or more.

Following these simple life changes, I was able to lose 20 pounds within the first month, and I kept losing weight steadily after. Seeing my results, my family members started to follow suit and soon were losing the weight along with me. Give it a try. You have nothing but weight to lose.
