Halloween Celebrations in San Francisco 2011

San Franciso is a vibrant city with lots to do. In October and for Halloween, the city does not disappoint. Below, in no particular order, find some great activities in October and on Halloween in the city of San Francisco.

Halloween Party at Ruby Skye
This fun nightclub in San Francisco is hosting an incredible Halloween Party. The fun starts October 30th and you must buy tickets. Expereince the DJ styling of “Tiesto” (a DJ and producer) who has worked with Busta Rhymes, the Yeah, Yeah, Yeah’s, Nelly Furtado and many more famous artists. This party will rock.

Spooky Soire care of the Bay Area Discovery Museum
Enjoy a grown up masquerade party via the Discovery Duseum. There will be carnival games, a roaming magician, raffles, a DJ, food and more. Tickets $200 (they benefit the museum), masks $25, Raffle Tickets $75. October 29th 7-11pm.

Spider Ball
Starting at 10pm on October 29th, the Spider Ball is the place to be. Tickets start at $45 and the end of the night is posted as “late.” Dance the night away in your freakiest and/or sexiest Halloween outfit. Located at the Bently Reserve on 400 Sasome Street.

Monster Bash in Alameda on the USS Hornet
Go aboard the Grey Ghost and and enjoy a costume contest, a haunted hospital, a live band and so much more. This venue is family and kid friendly. October 29th 7:30pm to midnight.

Roaring Camp Railroads in Felton
Less than an hour and a half south of San Francsico, go to Roaring Camp Railroads for there Halloween activities. On October 8 & 9, attend their Happy HOWLween Harvest Fair, a popular family event with all the Halloween fixings. Alo try the Ghost Train on October 29 and 30. This is for families and children and you get to take fabulous “vintage’ rail cars through a redwood forest with actors dressed up and so much more – a haunted house, games, and contests are also fun.
