Excellent Tips to Find Inexpensive, Cheap Land

Finding inexpensive land is like finding a pot of gold these days. Sometimes you can find inexpensive land if you look in regular real estate agencies catalogs, but the best land prices I have found is online. I like to stay away from foreclosure and tax auctions but these options might be for you to check into.

Where can you find inexpensive land?

Someplace away from major city life and of course and you don’t have to be in the middle of nowhere or even far away from a midsized town but generally not to close to a large city.

In the U.S., I have found affordable land prices in parts of Oregon and Alaska, Northern California, Washington, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas. My studies have not traveled very far outside of the U.S for land. I do know some parts of Canada are inexpensive.

In Texas you are looking more at land with hardly any trees and water is a concern. But I have read how people do live in these regions and love it. Texas would be excellent for free electricity using solar panels or wind generators.

Shop around in these states through an online real estate site. Also try checking out the large online auction sites and run a search there for land in Winona, Missouri, Sprague River and Chiloquin Oregon to get you started.

If you are having difficulty trying to afford a piece of land straight up, don’t worry there are real estate companies who totally fund right inside their company, deleting bank interaction and some don’t even do a credit check which helps.

Some of these companies start out purchasing a large piece of farm land, have the land surveyed out to smaller sections, and then resell them for more than they paid for. So you can still own a piece of land and forgo a bank loan!

If you run a search on Google under, “cheap land in Ozarks Missouri”, or, “Buy Cheap Land”, you can find companies like these. Also I have found these companies selling property on eBay. Try running a search in eBay for Missouri under the real estate category and click through a couple of them and voila!!

I just found a piece of land in Alaska that has no property taxes what so ever by searching, “Buy Cheap Land”, and finding one of those companies. I have not come across land with no taxes before. Back in the older days you could find property like this more easily.

Note: These are just tips I have found during my own quest to find inexpensive land to build my own home. I receive no compensation and have no connections with any of these companies except for eBay where I buy an occasional shirt or personal things.
