Last night Chris Harrison confirmed that the new “Bachelor” would indeed be Ben Flajnik.
Ben is the lovable guy that proposed to Ashley Hebert on the last season on “Bachelorette,” and she rejected him for J.P. It was sad to see that the show producers allowed Ben to go through with the proposal, especially with Ashley knowing full well that she was going to choose J.P.
Fans would’ve been steamed had Ben not been selected for the new season after all of that. I certainly look forward to seeing the California winemaker find love.
On Ashley’s season, Ben faced the death of his father and was able to open up his heart to allow himself to attempt to find love again. He started out very skeptical, had a lot of issues, and was able to work passed it. It’s going to be a great season of the “Bachelor” as this is the first time in a long while that a fan favorite was selected!
Ben admits if he finds true love he is more than willing to get down on one knee, again, and propose.
Season 16 of “The Bachelor” premieres Monday, Jan 2.
