Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder

In history, our attraction to the aesthetically beautiful has always been something we seek to fulfill, whether it is something we posses or someone, we tend to be drawn to it. It is a desirable nature in us to crave for beautiful things and to admire them.

However, each one of us holds a different concept of what we consider aesthetically pleasant, hence why it has been said wisely that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”

People may disagree in the level of beauty of a song, a person, a place, or a story but there is always a widespread agreement that something has earned the title of beautiful.

I have created this magazine to compile a catalog of beautiful people, art, music, and so forth, and present them to the world so that they can admire them too. Thanks to the internet, you don’t have to go to a museum to admire beautiful arrangements, or at least to get a glimpse of them.

You should consider the fact that the arts can do more than just provide you with an aesthetic moment at the precise time you admire them, they could be a point of personal reflection, or the artist may be conveying a strong political/religious/self conscious message that he wants to make public; for whatever reason, do not miss the opportunity to enrich your mind learning more about art!

In the next couple of months, I will dedicate several of my articles to the humanities and art throughout history, and hope I can encourage you to become more aware of art and all the things that comprise it.

Personally, the best element of admiring art is learning about the artist behind the artwork. I have found this hobby to be the most rewarding one because I get inspired when I hear their heartfelt, compelling stories of hard work and sacrifice.
