Swimming

Swimming is a full body exercise, which means you’re involving more body parts in your exercising. If more body parts are involved, more calories will be burned. Swimming is great because it’s very hard to be injured while swimming and you always have the water supporting you. Just make sure that if you’re swimming to have another person close by, just in case.

Running

While running is similar to walking in many respects, it’s much more efficient. If you can develop and maintain effective running habits, you will see a larger burn of calories and a faster building of muscle. Running is great like walking because it requires no special equipment and can be done almost anywhere. You have to be careful while running because it’s easy to be injured in a fall depending on how you fall and how fast you are running.
