“The Help” is a movie which revolves around a young woman, Skeeter, who sets out to write a book from the perspective of black women working for white families in Jackson, Mississippi during the 1960s. The film stars Emma Stone as Skeeter, Viola Davis as Aibileen, Octavia Spencer as Minny, Bryce Dallas Howard as Hilly, Jessica Chastain as Celia. There are a lot of good quotes in the film, but here are ten of the best:

Minny: I work Sunday through Friday.
Celia: You can’t work at all on the weekends.

Skeeter (to her rude blind date Stuart): I’m sorry, but were you dropped on your head as an infant or were you just born stupid? A little cliché but Emma Stone makes every line sound good.
Minny (talking about Hilly’s outfit): She look like the winning horse at the Kentucky Derby… all those flowers and bows.
Hilly: Have you lost your mind?
Minny (about to tell her about the revenge pie she baked for her): No ma’am, but you about to.
Celia (to Minny, after not seeming to be aware that white bosses don’t usually eat at the same table as the help): Oh, there you are!
Aibileen (to young girl): You is kind… You is smart… You is important. This is one of the most memorable movie lines of 2011.
