Why do I have green urine after eating cereal?
Q: I’ve been eating a whole wheat cereal for the last little while and I’ve noticed that I always get neon green urine immediately after eating it, and it lasts for the whole day 🙁 It has some almonds in it, but I suspect that it’s all the “added vitamins and minerals” that are causing this.Should I keep on having it (I like it) despite what it does? Or is it no big deal? Serious responses only, please.Thanksbtw, I eat a small-medium bowl! It doesn’t matter how little I have.
A: are you sure you are not drinking minotaur energy drinks (reference to movie Role Model)? lol jkjkanyway, it should be copper that contribute to the green color. Copper has a spectrum of green/blue hue when it is in ion form. Mixed in with the yellow color from normal pee, green is probably the result.Personally I know that copper is a essential element in the body, but if you are eating so much that you are peeing green, then it’s probably not a good sign. Best if you change your cereal I’d say.
