Painful sneeze, burning tickle in ears and throat?

Q: My tonsils are killing!!!! Usually when a person sneezes they feel a sense of urgency and then relief. However, I have to brace myself for what feels like the full force of a mini grenage going off in my face. Once the pain dies down, my mouth, ears itch and the back of my throat remains irritated for a long time afterward. Pain swallowing and caughing too. I don’t seem to sneeze out of my nose anymore, the full force of the sneeze escapes my mouth. Any ideas?
