A: Sebum is the oil produced by the skin. It is regulated by your androgen glands or “hormonal glands”. When your hormones fluctuate your androgen glands produce excess Sebum.Because the glands are more concentrated in your face, that is where acne develops. There are ways to stop the breakouts though. The tricky part about acne is that the problem can actually become worse if you overmedicate. That’s because acne medication can overdry the skin, causing a boost in your skin’s Sebum (oil) production. This results in…you guessed it – more acne.So what’s the long term solution? Find gentler solutions or even natural acne cures that won’t shock your body into more breakouts. Here’s what I recommend:- Use a glycerin based facewash. Glycerin is gentler and will balance the ph levels in your skin.- For body acne, try using an antibacterial soap to slowly dry out the skin. If your skin gets too dry, switch to a moisterizing soap like Dove to counterbalance the effect.- Wash your face only 2 times a day max and gently pat dry with a towel.- Use a gentle face moisterizer if the glycerin based face wash drys you out too much.- Eat almonds, fiber, drink lots of water and avoid excess sugar intake.- If acne medication isn’t working or causing new breakouts, try applying egg whites to the pimples at night before bed. This natural remedy works great.- One of my favorite natural skin conditioners is wearing an “oatmeal mask”. The oatmeal with smooth your skin while simultaneously absorb toxins and oils from your pores.- Tea Oil works great on acne as well. Tea Tree Oil is an antifungal that will kill bacteria in the skin gently. You can pick it up at most drug stores and health food stores.- Rubbing a slice of lemon on acne will dry out the pimple and balance the pH levels in the skin. Some people don’t enjoy smelling like a lemon but the solution does work.- Put a dab of rubbing alcohol on pimples after you pop them. The alcohol will kill bacteria, shrink the pimple and dry out oily pores. For more great remedies, check out the Source link Below.Best of Luck!
Why do People Get Pimples in Their Heads?
Q: My roommate Tells Me how Every time she washes her hair and on the 2nd day she has Pimples inside her head! Why is that? What shampoos are out there to Prevent it?
A: Your scalp has pores just like the rest of your body, so it’s possible that the products she uses on her hair to style it or the shampoo itself (if overly moisturizing) combined with the oils that her scalp naturally makes causes the pimples more often for her. If she uses a lot products on her hair, she should use a clarifying shampoo. When using a conditioner, try not to put it directly on the scalp, just on the hair itself (not near the roots). If her scalp is overly oily, she should use a shampoo specifically for oily hair.
