I feel, you are required to undergo Doppler test for the calf veins to rule out whether you have Deep Vein Thrombosis. Also you should ask for routine blood test for eosinophil count and a midnight thick peripheral smear for filarial worms….

You could have cellulitis maybe or Deep Vein Thrombosis. You really need to go to a doctor.

Q: for many years on and off my left calf gets very swollen, never ever painful, when we used to go on holiday and did a lot of walking it would get swollen then, never all day though, but just lately sometimes I get up in the morning and its swollen.
