How does Flonase trigger migraine-headache ?
Q: plz explain and it would be appreciated if you know treatments of migraine-headache. Thanks
A: Treatment for migraine headaches can relieve the pain and symptoms of a migraine attack — and prevent further migraine attacks.Migraines can be treated with 2 approaches: abortive and preventive.Abortive: The goal of abortive therapy is to prevent a migraine attack or to stop it once it starts. The prescribed medications stop a headache during its prodrome stage or once it has begun and may be taken as needed. Some can be administered as a self-injection into the thigh; others, as a wafer that melts on the tongue. These forms of medication are especially useful for people who vomit during a migraine, and they work quickly.http://www.webmd.com/migraines-headaches/guide/migraine-treatments

Migraine suffers. Is there something in particular that triggers migraine headaches?
Q: As a teenager working at Frank’s Nursery and Crafts, I would get Migraines and had to actually quit the job because of the headaches I would get. I haven’t really had any problems until I turned 24 and suddenly I started getting them again not bad about 2-3 a year, but as I get older now 29 I find them coming more frequently to the point where I am physically ill and can’t even move a finger without it hurting! I was wondering if the people who suffer from them have a particular thing that triggers them. I have been thinking about going to the Dr. but know he’ll send me to a Neurologists and I don’t want to deal with that. My girlfriend mentioned something about the fact that maybe I get them from all the neck a thoracic back problems I have as I also suffer from severe tension headaches, which actually started at the age of 24. I guess I will have to eventually see a Dr. but I was hoping to get some insight from Yahoo Answers first on what they think may cause theirs.
A: You must get this sorted out, it may take a while but will be well worth it!!! I am a headache sufferer myself, 17yrs and counting, i have been thru the ringer with procedures and doctors combined, headaches/migraines are life changing but don’t have to be. Do you write a headache diary??? It is a good way to keep note of when and where or even why. Give it a try!! A good web-site for this type of thing is BrainTalk Communities, it has been a life saver for me and you will be able to get some great advice there. My headaches are from an accident back in 89, still searching for relief. Good luck, give that web-site a try and it is truely detrimental to your health that you see a doc for this.
