The one bad thing about cutters is that they are bad in the rain, but I find that going gloveless in the rain is the best option, or if you want to have a towel hanging out of your pants, you can still wear cutters. The scaly grips are good for the first few practices, but after that they wear lose their grip and are nowhere near as good as cutters.
What's the difference between narrow grip and wide grip pull ups? Should I stop doing narrow grip and switch?
Q: I've been doing narrow grip pull ups for sometime and can now do 2 sets of 18 each. Is it time to switch to wide grip ones? Should I completely stop doing narrow grips and just do wide grips? Or do both?
A: you should do both, switch it up, element of suprize. A muscle adapts to strenght trainning, attacking muscles at different angles makes them well rounded. Wide grip pull ups hit your lat/back muscles harder than your narrow. Narrow focus's on bicepts and tricepts more while its still considered a back movement
