What are the best things to do when you have the flu and a sore throat?
Q: I’m also losing my voice; how can i stop this from happening before the end of this week?Like what to eat or drink.. Thanks
A: -Drink lots and lots and lots of hot Tea, because besides being an anti-oxidant, it gets rid of all the impurities that are making you sick.-Do your best to drink tea Without any sugar or sweetener. Sweets multiply the impurities making you sick.-Gargle with: Warm water -and- Baking Soda. Avoid speaking for about 15 minutes afterward. Do that at least Three Times per day: Morning, Afternoon, and Before Going to Bed.-Rest, and All You Can. When active you force your body, and so getting sicker.-Don’t use too much clothing or covering yourself too much when being inside doors. Warmth Multiplies the little bugs making you sick, and big time because that’s how they grow and spread, with warmth.-Eat Light. Nothing Heavy or Complicated: Broth or light soup; lots of tea; crackers; Fresh Fruits and Not Juices from cans, bottles or such because they have too much Sweets and Too Little of the vitamin C you need; mashed potatoes; and again: Nothing Complicated, Sweet, or Heavy.
i have the flu please share your tips :)?
Q: what should i do i have a sore throat and i cant stop coughing my temp in 100.4 and my mom says just to rest but i need some home remedies. I feel hot and stuffy and my muscles ache. Please give me some thing to make me feel better. And also is it true that i should eat fruit popsicles? OK thanks 🙂
A: Is your mom giving you anything to reduce the fever? You need to take Advil (Ibuprofen) or Motrin every four hours to keep the fever from getting too high. It will also help your muscle aches. Are you taking any Musinex DM to keep the mucus out of your sinuses and lungs? Yes, lots of rest, lots of clear liquids, eat if you feel like it, Popsicle’s are good for your throat and keeping your temp down a bit. If you start to have a hard time breathing let your mom know right away so she can call or take you to your doctor and get checked out. I like to take warm baths when I have the flu but with your fever being so high you might want to wait until it breaks. My daughter has the flu and she is feeling okay because we are giving her Ibuprofen every 4 hours, she’s taking medicine to keep her cough productive so she can get all the mucus out of her lungs, she’s drinking lots of Sprite, juice and water, and she is laying down most of the day. She eats when shes hungry. Mostly chicken noodle soup or crackers is what she has been wanting if she’s hungry. I am just keeping an eye on her, making sure to wake up and give her the medicine every 4 hours through the night so it doesn’t get high while she is sleeping. Oh, and lots of cough drops too, lol. Hope you are feeling better soon 🙂
