A: Hi. You should really get a Colonoscopy to know for sure. IBS and Colitus can have similar symptoms to more serious illness. The only way to know for sure and be safe is to get the Colonoscopy. This is what I've found from problems I was having. I'm not an expert, but ask you doctor. Better safe than assuming and being sorry. Good luck!
