A: Is it important? Well, yes, since its given us some of the greatest minds in the world. Some brilliant people have had Asperger’s, including Bill Gates, who is far from a lonely failure. He’s one of the most successful people who ever lived.Does it mean you’re different from a “typical” person? Yes, and what’s wrong with that? You have things to offer the world a “typical” person doesn’t. It might be a little hard if you’re an adolescent, trying to fit in, but the older you get, the easier it will be. The main thing is to do what makes you happy, not what other people think you should do. The way the others see things is just different, and its hard for them to “get it” sometimes…And there’s so darn many more of them…Hang in there, you’ll be fine.
Bi-Polar and Depression (manic depressive syndrome)?
Q: I have been diagnosed with Sevear Chronic Major DepressionBi-polar (1 or 2?) Asburgers Syndrome & Hi-Functioning Autism What are the sites for support for these mental illnesses? Also, where (if anywhare) can I get free online counseling? Please and Thank-youP.S. physically I’m fine (execpt all the fat)
A: Im so sorry to hear of your problems…truthfully, one thing you should consider for you mental health, is losing weight. You will be happier. Watch the mood swings with your bipolar…they can be rough. I’m not any of the above, but my last relationship was with someone who is bipolar, so I’ve seen it all. I do know that I have not found any online counseling sites that are free and good. If you don’t have a support system and need someone to talk to, I will be glad to help you.
