A: Here’s what to do: First, remove the water dish, second put a larger heat bulb in the fixture, and then cover the enclosure. This should do the trick. After a day or so, place the water dish in the enclosure for an hour or so, so it can get a drink. The reason for vthe removal of the water dish is to lower the humidity. The problem could be that the enclosure isn’t warm enough. Ball pythons come from the African savannah, where it gets pretty hot.

A: (sorry this is so long, but there was no way to explain it in short)My mom and grandmother always tell me that even drinking a little is better then not drinking at all. Just offer it to him quite often. Another way that you have to kind of see this drinking just a little right now; is when you have been coughing a lot, you have a sore throat right, and you really can’t drink a lot. Same thing with your baby. The docs will tell you that you need to make sure he gets fluids, which is what you are doing. But if he stops drinking all together again, then you will need to take him back to the doc. But since he is drinking, its better then nothing. Hope he starts feeling better soon.Oh and as for the coughing, man do i know how you feel there. I’m asuming that when you took him to the doc saturday they gave you some meds. Depending on what they gave you and the healing ability of your child, you should start seeing a big difference real soon. The cough can still last for another week. It won’t be as harsh, but it will still be a tickle, you know. Of course I’ve got the two kids, and you know one always gets better faster then the other. So it all depends on your son.
