Q: my mom and dad have been divorced since i was in kindergarten nd my life has been tough ever since. i show a happy face in school, but when my dad has sit down talks about how cruel my mothers is, my life turns to the opposite of heaven. my dad is making me choose between my mom and dad and he says that if i love my mom and love my dad at the same time, he wont love my anymore. i cant do this, i am still young and this is my year when i need a mother and father the most. and on top of that, my mom has als. lou gherigs disease. i need help. it is not easy, and i feel like i need some answers here.

A: I know how you feel. It’s really hard. My mom and dad got divorced last year. They separated three times before and I keep losing my friends, so I try not to get too attached to anyone. My ad design teacher keeps bringing up my dad. One time I showed her this design I made on the computer and she asked me ” Have you showed your dad yet?” I don’t know what he has to do with it, but she brought it up out of no where. And she drove me to this ad design meeting and she was asking me questions like “where does your dad work?” and stuff like that, so it’s hard, and my dad’s in jail until 2020 and I don’t know why.
