A: If by “boil” you mean there are bubbles under the tape .It’s air.One of 2 things happened Either you did not press the tape firmly enough down into the bed of mud(joint compound) or you didn’t put enough on the wall to begin with.Either way you need to remove the tape and start over bc you’re never gonna be able to get a good finish with air under there.
