Our dogs urine is smelling like fish, do you know what this means?

Q: We have an appointment in the morning and I am not sure what to expect. She had a bladder infection and was bleeding when she peed and had stones back in December and was put on a diet of only SD food. Shes been on that ever since. She did great, gained weight, stopped the bleeding and continues to play rough with the other dogs. You can’t even tell she is sick. Now when she pees it smells like fish. We aren’t sure if she still has stones but we are told this is a chance we have to put her down. Shes not really getting better and with out the SD food she does start bleeding again. So do you happen to know why her pee would smell like fish, is it something that is always going to happen weather she gets medicine or not?she made improvement after starting the food and meds back in December and has been on the food since. Now she is having the problems again. The vet had told us back in December that the stones can be removed but can’t guarantee they won’t come back. He said since he can’t guarantee it then we would have to remove again and again and again for every time they come back. He said if we wanted to put her thru surgery after surgery then we can but I would hate to put through so much pain for something that will continue to come back.

Q: Okay, I had a normal bowl movement last night after a stomach ache. After that I had another bowl movement, it was black. Finally the one I took an hour ago was a lighter black, kinda greenish. I also have frequent urine, and what I mean by that is I seem to have a lot of water inside of me, every 10 minutes or so.These are the things I hate today starting from midday:1.
